The Hawaiian Journal of History, first published in 1967, is an annual scholarly journal devoted to original articles on the history of Hawaiʻi, Polynesia, and the Pacific area. Publication years from 1967 to 2008 are now available online as a free searchable database. Each issue contains articles on a variety of subjects such as sovereignty, land issues, statehood, language and much more. It also contains illustrations; book reviews; notes and queries; and a bibliography of Hawaiiana titles of historical interest.
